Do people see a bot join my meetings?+
Never. Donna records from your Mac - your mic and the call audio - the moment she detects a call in Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack, FaceTime, Discord, Webex, and more. Nothing joins the room, and she reminds you to get consent where it's required.
How do the speaker labels work?+
Donna tells voices apart on-device and matches them to the people on the invite. Name a voice once and she recognizes it in every future meeting - and relabels past transcripts too. Corrections you make teach her.
Where does my data live?+
On your Mac, full stop. Recording, transcription (Whisper), and speaker matching all run on-device - audio and transcripts never leave your machine. You can auto-delete old audio on a schedule you pick.
Which calendars does Donna support?+
Google Calendar and Apple Calendar (any ICS feed) today - including multiple accounts at once. Outlook and more are on the roadmap.
How does auto-open actually work?+
Donna reads the conferencing link on each event and launches it in the right app - and the right browser profile - at start time. You get a nudge five minutes ahead with Join and Snooze, and you can turn auto-open off entirely.
Is it really free?+
Everything around your calendar - auto-open, next-up, notifications, world clocks, commands, reminders - is free forever. Recording, transcripts, and speaker identification come with a 14-day free trial; Donna Pro keeps them running after that.
What do I need to run it?+
A Mac on macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. Live in-call captions use Apple's newest on-device speech engine (macOS 26); on earlier versions your full transcript is ready right after the call.
Does Donna read my email?+
Not today. Donna only touches your calendar. Inbox sorting and auto-reply are coming, and they'll be strictly opt-in when they arrive.
